New heifer-keenya , Is she full jersey or a cross?

Frank is so happy to have a little girlfriend, even though he's a steer now, and won't ever be able to do anything about it.  Yesterday I caught him nibbling on the burrs stuck in Keenya's neck.  Looks like love as far as I can tell.
She was advertised as a full jersey heifer, based on the fact that she was sold at auction with her mother and father in the ring at the same time.  Her markings make everyone think she's prob. got some holstein in her.  What do you all think?

Solid 2 Horn 09 ram lamb available

Looking for a new flock sire.? Let us know.  This ram lamb was born in april.  He's got nice springy soft wool, and a gentle disposition. His sire is a 4H and his mother has a strong 4H background.  Known pedigree  from Indiana and Wisconsin.  Lilac carrier--should be ready to breed in the next couple months.  Photos of his parents, price, and more info. available, Just ask.  thanks.

the single tear of a steer.

*DENISE*

Another piglet has found her way to Mocabee creek.  Denise had to travel a couple hour drive, and looked pretty rough her first night here.  She's taken up with Darryl Faye quickly, they eat, sleep, and just hang out together.    She's in these photos with the boar,  trying to steal a nibble of slimy corny-milk-apples.  She's done nothing this weekend but take naps in the labor day sunshine...   Best guess is that Denise is a hampshire/yorkshire cross,  usually called a blue-butt.  My mouth is still watering a couple weeks later, after the neighbors had us up for some breakfast sausage made by a man just a few miles down the road.  As soon and Denise and Darryl Faye have some babies big enough to eat, it'll be sausage everday, until we're sick of it.  I know I've been going on and on about this sausage, but I'm telling you, its so good it has the power to turn mere vegans into carnivores.!!!

introducing... Darryl Faye

She's been here a week now and is totally spoiled on sour milk, ground corn, and a steady stream of belly rubs. The latest plan is to keep her around as a brood sow for at least one batch of piglets, at that time, we'll either decide to keep her and do it all over again, or eat her and her babies... but first, we've got to find her a man (hopefully today)... dead-beat dads, need not apply.
